India Inc: The UK Launch Party
What a great evening, with over 250 guests, the book was launched at the Taj St. James Hotel in London on 21st February 2010. Speeches were delivered by Stephen Pound MP and Dixit Joshi, MD & Head of European & Asian Equities at Barclays Capital. With Government Ministers, Captains of Industry, leading opinion formers, and India watchers, the event proved to be a great celebration.

Press meet with Baba Kalyani
On 26th January 2010, en-route to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Baba Kalyani - Chairman of Bharat Forge interacted with media representatives to publicise the book. Journalists from China, India, France, US and the UK quizzed him on big picture issues ranging from the competitive threat of China, India's position on climate change, the financial crisis and the auto slowdown, and his views on the state of the manufacturing sector globally.

HSBC Private Bank hosts.. In conversation with Vikas Pota
To coincide with the launch of India Inc, HSBC Private Bank hosted an exclusive event in the evening of 26th January 2010, in which Vikas Pota interviewed Baba Kalyani, Chairman of Bharat Forge, with participation from the audience. Unlike the press conference that morning, the evening's proceedings focused on Mr Kalyani's personal, entrepreneurial, journey - which has taken his business from being a low tech, manpower heavy metal bashing business to being an innovative, tech-savvy engineering firm that supplies components for, almost, every single vehicle in North America & Europe.
